Unearth a Story- meet the living dinosaurs! How do scientists learn about the  dinosaurs when no one is there to see them?  Interactive, family friendly program. Meet live animals from the zoo and discover how they help scientists today “Unearth A Story” about dinosaurs from millions of years ago. For all ages

Crafts for kids: today is Crayon Resist Painting. Ages 8 & up, registration requested.  

Children aged 6 and up are invited to come play a variety of outdoor games we’ll have set up for them. Some of the classics and new ones too! In case of inclement weather we’ll have indoor games in our community room.

Book Club meets third Thursday of the month. The group chooses their titles. Library will provide books. New members always welcome.

Kids Craft Time: today is Popsicle Stick Dinosaurs. Ages 3 and up. Registration requested  

Show featuring Checkers the Inventor, children’s performer, author and creator of “The Reading Road Trip” ; a nationally recognized literacy series used by schools and libraries. A fast- paced interactive program that features comedy, magic, juggling, stunts and audience participation. No registration needed.

Free Play time with our Sensory Bins. Young children can “dig” for dinosaurs, color dinosaur pages and find dinosaur books just for them! Adult supervision is required. Ask a staff member for details.Geared towards very young children.
