Living History: Mary Jemison

Tina Scherman, from Leon Historical Society, will be portraying Mary Jemison,  who  was an American frontierswoman who was captured in her teens by  the Shawnees in what is now Adams County, Pennsylvania.  The Seneca’s then adopted her into their tribe.
