Historical Film Documentary by PBS. William Still was one of the most important, yet largely unheralded heroes of the Underground Railroad. He kept meticulous records of the slaves that he smuggled from the US Border into Canada. Their stories, where they came from, how they escaped, and the families they left behind were compiled into secret notes and is regarded as the most authentic account of some of America’s most heroic stories.
