Cooking with Mushrooms

Sam Warren is a citizen mycologist, Outdoor educator, and commercial mushroom forager from Almond, NY. Sam is certified in wild mushroom safety in 13 states as well as a NYSOGA licensed New York State hunting and hiking guide. His passion for mycology has found him leading forays, running workshops and speaking on panels at various mycology festivals across the North East. These classes will be limited in size so registration is required. This class covers tips and tricks when trying to incorporate popular edible mushrooms into your dishes as well as recipes to take home and try. This series of programs are funded by the Falconer Region Geographic Grant administered by the Chautauqua Region Community Foundation.
