Ellington and It’s Stories

Ellington and It’s Stories”. Roger Gilbert, author of “Ellington and It’s People” will be the host of a casual story time gathering at the library on Wednesday September 9 from 7-8pm. He has a wealth of knowledge on the area as well as humorous stories on all things Ellington and the surrounding area. We welcome everyone to come and you are invited to share any stories you might have about the life and times of Ellington and Conewango. They were originally one town at one time. I have heard many stories from library patrons about the town, the earlier days of the town picnic,  the downtown area when it was in it’s prime and wonderful historical remembrances that are so interesting! Please consider coming and sharing some of them. This program should also be fun even if you are new to the area and would like to know a few interesting tidbits about your new town. “No registration needed and light refreshments will be served.
