Organizing at the Library!

Some folks tackle Spring cleaning tasks in, well, the Spring. Libraries, and our library in general, like to take on that organizing and cleaning to-do list in late August and September. First step in an organizing or cleaning  plan is decide what your final goal should be. In our case we would like to make more room on our adult fiction hardcover bookshelves. They currently are full and the books are too tight together on the shelves. How do we make room without adding more bookcases to an already full library?
